Welcome to Recon Center
The word “RECONCILIATION” means to unite two parties who are estranged. The two parties here are you and God. Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
The root cause of all man’s trouble is our separation from God. God longs to be with you, both now and eternally. Before you can reconcile with him, you need to know what went wrong and how it was fixed.
A good place to start is by understanding what our greatest need is. In the Gospel according to St. John, Chapter 3, our Lord Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again, what does that mean? That is explained here. The Ministry of Reconciliation page offers a deeper, nuts and bolts of the word of God understanding of the meaning of “reconciliation” and its concept as it relates to God and man.
Then there is my Bible study blog called The Lamp and Light Post (TLLP) covering the fundamentals of our faith and beyond. The outcome of the Bible study and the sermons I preach at The Father’s House Church in Cochin and Ooty (formerly The Recon Center) also ends up in TLLP.
This site started its life as a TLLP blog, and I’ve been posting every Saturday since February 28, 2009. Now, www.reconcenter.com serves as the website for The Father’s House Church, Cochin and Ooty.
The Father’s House Church, Cochin and Ooty
The Recon Center has now become the Father’s House Church after my ordination.
In Cochin, we meet at the Recon Center (Ground Floor, Kodiyil House, Opposite Kerala Water Authority, R. Madhavan Nair Road, Pallimukku, Cochin 682016, Kerala) to worship in English every Sunday at 10 am.
In Ooty, we meet at the YWCA Ananthagiri, Ettines Road, Ooty, to worship in English every Thursday at 7 pm.
